A revolutionary new study from Stanford University's Sleep Medicine Center has revealed
compelling evidence that deep, restorative sleep may be one of our most powerful defenses
against Alzheimer's disease. The research, published today in Nature Neuroscience, followed
2,400 participants over eight years and found that individuals who consistently achieved
high-quality deep sleep showed significantly lower levels of amyloid-beta plaques in brain
scans.
